What Size Skate Wheel Should I Get Reddit

Is this cycle size okay for street?

i currently accept some mini logo 53 mm 101A wheels and I still haven't gone to a skate park. I use it mostly to go to school on street, and in the United kingdom of great britain and northern ireland they're non the best. The wheels but feel super tedious and the skateboard stops pretty quickly. It audio is also quite loud.

Then i was thinking of getting some 54 mm 97A wheels, is this better? I still want to acquire flip tricks and be able to Ollie onto pavement.

Try some 92a or 86a wheels. 101a is pretty difficult and won't do well on rough pavement. I take 54mm 101a'southward for park skating and 53mm 86a'south for skating around my neighborhood (which has pretty shitty pavement).

When I made the switch to 86a, information technology helped so much. I would accept to constantly button with my 101a's and they were super loud; the 86a's let me cruise style longer without pushing and are much quieter. They're quite grippy and bouncy, only you lot can definitely yet ollie with them!

Yeah they practise feel actually irksome. Are the 86a wheels a harder to do tricks on or weigh more? I still want to be able to larn tricks but besides use it to get to schoolhouse and back.

Sounds like it may exist a bearing issues not a wheel issue if the lath is moving slowly and making weird sounds? Just as for bigger wheels - I ride 56mm 99a and can practise tricks/ ollie things merely fine, i have the bigger wheels because i ride quite a scrap on city streets and they are super bumpy, i had 53mm at get-go but jumped upwardly to 56 shortly afterward with great results.

It's not exactly a weird sound specifically, just that it's actually loud and loudee than my cruiser, which I sympathise skateboards are. But maybe I need some new bearings too, didn't think of that! Are bones redz good? Is 97a besides soft or okay? Thanks!

Hard wheels like to become fast if you are pushing hard it might be a bearing outcome besides contact patch makes a divergence on the street for instance a conical or wide wheel will be slower than a thinner bicycle with a smaller contact patch. If I'g trying to go A-B and pop tricks I have a set up up with Spitfire Classics Formula i 99a these are the white wheels with just the spirals on them that were effectually before Formula Fours came out that are more than of an off white color they are a bit softer and handle all terrains well but are beast for commuting and tricking, funny they now have Formula Fours that have the archetype spiral graphic so it can get confusing.
